As a marine biologist from Edinburgh, I had the pleasure of staying at Holmen Lofoten with my family, and I must say it was a delightful experience. the family-friendly atmosphere was evident from the warm welcome by owner Håvar, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious dishes we ordered, though a buffet option would have been convenient. the staff, particularly in the restaurant, provided exceptional service. the cozy rooms offered breathtaking views, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We appreciated the hotel's commitment to local produce and engaging with the community. the proximity to great hikes and the focus on local activities made our time here truly special.
